Houghton Financial Partners is excited to announce that the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), has recognized our very own Michael Houghton as a top financial wealth advisor on the 2020 Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40 list.
Established in 2014, this list – officially the NAPA Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40, is based on applications received from nominees designated by NAPA Broker-Dealer/RIA Firm Partners. Those applications are vetted by a blue-ribbon panel of senior advisor industry experts based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative data submitted by the nominees, as well as a broker-check review. These “Aces “are widely seen as the future leaders of the retirement plan advisor industry. Additionally, these outstanding individuals were drawn from a pool of more than 600 nominations (a 20% increase from a year ago).
Houghton is proud to receive this distinguished honor to be recognized as one of the best Plan Advisors in the country. “Michael Houghton has established himself as an industry thought-leader and is an integral part of our team. We are very proud to see him receive this prestigious industry recognition. Michael’s knowledge and work ethic have allowed Houghton Financial Partners to retain and grow our client base over the years.” said Ted Houghton, Founder and President of Houghton Financial Partners in El Paso, Texas. “We are very proud of his accomplishments and look forward to Michael leading our wealth management team.”
Houghton Financial Partners is a family-run business with decades of experience, so we understand the value of relationships. Each member of our team is dedicated to providing quality service and treating each client as a long-term partner. Houghton Financial Partners is proud to be a member of M Financial, one of the nation’s largest financial service and design networks. We genuinely enjoy learning about our clients’ business, goals, and challenges for custom plan design.
The National Association of Plan Advisors, an affiliate organization of the American Retirement Association, was created by and for retirement plan advisors. Membership is also open to other retirement industry professionals who support the interests of plan advisors.
While the financial services industry is well represented in Washington by a number of trade associations that weigh in on issues affecting advisors, NAPA is the only advocacy group exclusively focused on the issues that matter to retirement plan advisors. This exclusive focus is what sets NAPA apart. As a professional society, NAPA is uniquely committed to seven core principles of advisors serving employer-sponsored retirement plans. These “Aces” are widely seen as the future leaders of the retirement plan advisor industry. This year more than 600 nominations were submitted (a 20% increase from a year ago). Congratulations Michael!
